"A Brief History of Jewelry" follows the general development of the history of human civilization and art, and outlines a complete picture of the development of jewelry in the nearly 5,000-year history from the Mesopotamian civilization around 3,000 BC to the 1970s. This book is divided into three chapters, thirteen chapters, with clear levels. It comprehensively discusses the history of jewelry from "points", "lines" and "surfaces": "surface" refers to the historical main line of jewelry development over the past 5,000 years; "line" refers to the aesthetic characteristics of jewelry craftsmanship in each period, and focuses on several special techniques, such as enamel, granulation technology, gold craftsmanship, relief gemstones, etc.; "Points" refers to the aesthetic characteristics of specific crafts in each period, as well as the jewelry masters and representative works of that period. The three intersperse and guide each other, composing a climax and orderly jewelry movement.
