Shen Tianyou Wencun
Literature沈天佑文存
Shen Tianyou
Mr. Shen Tianyou is a famous red scholar and literary historian in my country. This book is a collection of his essays. Mr. Shen's academic research mainly focuses on two fields: First, the study of Ming and Qing novels, especially the study of "Jin Ping Mei" and "Dream of Red Mansions". He is the author of "Jin Ping Mei" and "Dream of Red Mansions" (Peking University Press, 1990), "Selected Novels of the Past Dynasties" (co-authored with Wu Zuxiang and others, China Youth Press, 1982). He published more than fifty papers in his life, most of which were novel papers. The second is the writing of literary history, including "Manuscript of the Literary History of Song and Yuan Dynasties" and "History of Chinese Literature" (edited by You Guoen and others as the main contributors). More important is the impact of academic research methods. Mr. Wu Zuxiang said: "Comrade Shen Tianyou has taught at Peking University for many years. His research on these two books is mostly about ideology and art, and he follows the path of the connoisseurship school."
