Many of the issues discussed in "Research on Narrative Theory of British and American Novels" have been ignored in previous studies, and many of the views in the book are proposed for the first time at home and abroad. The research method used in the first and middle parts, which combines novelists' narrative perspectives with creative practices, is innovative compared with previous research. The comparative study of different narrative traditions of British and American novels also constitutes a new approach. The second part clears up the confusion of related concepts and terminology in postclassical narrative theory and corrects various biases.
