The male protagonist Wang (yue) Le, who was born and raised in Baixi Village, collected herbs with his grandfather Wang Tu all year round and learned his grandfather's superb medical skills. When his grandfather left, he gave Wang Le a torn roll of crumpled paper and asked Wang Le to carry it with him no matter where he went. But it didn't take long for the fragment to disappear.
