"The Heroic Epic of Oirat" is a historical romance novel. The name "Oirat" comes from a nomadic tribe in northern China in ancient times. It has also been known by other names such as "Oirat" and "Erut". The story background of this book is set in the Kangxi and Qian Dynasties of the Qing Dynasty. From the perspective of Oirat, it reproduces the ups and downs of many characters in the conflict between the Oirat tribe and the Qing Dynasty. On a macro level, it recreates the historical entanglement between Oirat and the Qing Dynasty, and on a micro level, the story revolves around the clues of two people, namely the controversial and legendary life of Amursana, and the grudge struggle between Dai Zhecheng and his family between the Qing Dynasty and the Oirat.
