The beautiful and splendid high civilization of Argus has encountered frequent visits from unknown sources of power. As one of the leaders of the Triumvirate, the prophet Velen foresaw a terrifying vision that the world would turn into a sea of fire. Our protagonist, the newly minted mage apprentice Ofua, went to the prosperous capital of Mac'Aree alone to further his studies, but was involved in a mysterious struggle.
