The story is told in the third person about my experience as a person born in the 1990s. It spans more than 20 years. The main experience is the life and changes of my family before and after moving from the countryside to Shenzhen (the family grew from being formed to growing, from being poor to being rich, and finally was broken up), as well as my changes and experiences. Because I come from a Chaoshan family, I have special grievances and grudges with my grandmother and mother. There are many brothers and sisters in my family. Due to lack of material resources, the relationship between them is not friendly. They often suspect each other and infringe on each other's interests. In this way, the parent-child relationship within the family and the relationship between peers are explored, and finally the survival dilemma of this group is revealed.
