"The Great Space Age" tells the story of the interstellar competition for technology and civilization that started after genius space scientist Li Chenxi discovered Dragon, an Earth-like planet 10,000 light-years away from the earth. In the near future world of 2050, a team of scientists from the Dragon Kingdom developed the super-light space aircraft carrier Xuanyuan in order to reach Dragon Star first. When Li Chenxi successfully landed on Dragon Star, he unexpectedly discovered pyramid ruins that were exactly the same as the Mausoleum of Qin Shihuang, as well as mysterious technology that can extend human lifespan to thousands of years. As the forces of various countries arrived on Dragon Star one after another, human civilization opened a new interstellar era in the vast galaxy. This work combines elements of hard-core science fiction and Eastern civilization, constructs a grand cosmology intertwined with technology and metaphysics, and explores profound propositions such as the survival of civilization, ethical dilemmas, and identity that humans face in the interstellar expansion.
