In 3061, a mutation occurred in the earth's core, and prosperous cities were swallowed up by lava spewing from the ground. Human civilization was completely wiped out. In order to survive, the survivors built walls using basalt materials to encircle five vast areas to avoid the threat of phantom beasts.
