The "Forum Collection of Jilin Province's Increased Production of Tens of Billions of Jin of Commercial Grain and Ecological Environment Protection and Construction in Western Northeast China" is divided into three parts. The first part discusses the increase of tens of billions of kilograms of commercial grain production in Jilin Province and the development and consolidation of land in the west; the second part discusses the ecological environment protection and construction of western Jilin Province; and the third part discusses the ecological environment protection and construction of western Northeast China. The collection mainly focuses on the protection and construction of agriculture, forestry, water, grassland, animal husbandry, and ecological environment in the western part of Jilin Province and the western part of the northeast, and investigates their current status and trends based on the integration and optimization of previous research results and practical experience. Corresponding ecological management and countermeasures are proposed for major issues such as land desertification, salinization, grassland degradation, aridification, development of paddy fields in saline-alkali land, and rational allocation of water resources in the area. It has important practical significance and strategic guidance for the overall environmental improvement and comprehensive revitalization of economic and social development in the region.
