This book is based on the real problem of "aphasia" caused by the lack of a discourse system of its own in Chinese literary theory. It combs the Westernization process of Chinese literary theory and reveals that the essence of aphasia in Chinese literary theory is the mutation of modernity. From the perspective of cultural transformation and literary theory development, three paths are proposed to reconstruct Chinese literary theory discourse and realize the sinicization of Chinese literary theory: the immediate effectiveness of Chinese literary theory, the sinicization of Western literary theory, and making Chinese literary theory become the mainstream discourse in contemporary China.
