In 1994, the central government made a major strategic plan to provide counterpart support to Tibet, and Qingdao formed a deep relationship with Samzupze District, Shigatse City, Tibet (formerly Shigatse City). Over the past thirty years, batches of Qingdao aid cadres have crossed mountains and seas, taken root on the plateau, and used their wisdom and sweat to write a magnificent chapter in the development of the snowy region. This picture album records the glorious history of Qingdao's aid to Tibet with rich images and texts, and shows the earth-shaking changes that have taken place in Shigatse in the fields of infrastructure construction, people's livelihood improvement, industrial development, culture, education, medical and health care and other fields.
