This book mainly based on the study of Dostoevsky's novel texts, creative notes, literary theory and literary letters, explores the trajectory of the novelist's literary and artistic thoughts and creative development. While reviewing the important comments of Dostoevsky, this paper takes the textual analysis of the original novel as the main line and expounds the connotation and artistic characteristics of "idealism", "realism that achieves fantasy" and "complete realism" proposed by Dosage. This book also discusses Dosage's literary and artistic dialogues with famous European, American and Russian figures (such as Hugo, Edgar Allan Poe, Pushkin, and Gogol) during his artistic exploration.
