彭家煌小说经典(中国现代文学经典文库)
Peng Jiahuang
Early Chinese native writer. His pen name was Wei Gong, a native of Xiangyin, Hunan (now Miluo City, Hunan Province). In 1924, he went to work at Zhonghua Book Company in Shanghai. In 1925, he transferred to the Compilation Office of the Commercial Press. He successively edited "Education Magazine", "Children's World", etc. During this period, he published a large number of fairy tales and children's stories, which were very funny and interesting, but unfortunately they were not collected and published. After publishing the novel "Mr. Dismeryer" in 1926, he began to attract attention. His rural novels are more lively and interesting than those of his contemporary rural writers, as well as more profound and sophisticated. The characters are colorful and the use of spoken language is particularly successful. "Living Ghost", "Instigation", and "Chen Fourth Dad's Cow" are representative works in this regard. This volume selects works: Peake's Love Letters, Ordinary Things, Reformation, Mr. Dismeryer, Military and other works.
