In 1986, with the support of UNESCO, the Chinese Folk Literature and Art Research Association (the predecessor of the Chinese Folk Literature and Artists Association) and the Finnish folk literature and art circles jointly launched a month-long field trip to folk literature and art in the Sanjiang area of Guangxi. This inspection activity received high attention from the international academic community and achieved significant results, demonstrating the ideological spirit and academic style of the folk literature and art circles in New China. This book is a compilation of the results, documents and materials of this field trip, divided into two volumes. The first volume is the "Archival Papers Volume" and the second volume is the "Works Volume".
