Monologues and Gestures·red
General Fiction独白与手势·红
Pan Jun
This book is the third part of writer Pan Jun's trilogy of monologues and gestures. Unlike the first two parts, which mainly deal with the desolation and emptiness of life, "Red" shows the glory and destruction of the protagonist "my" life. "I" left Haikou and came to Beijing. I met several women wearing red trench coats and became emotionally close to them at different times. However, these women wearing red clothes all died unexpectedly without exception. The woman in red symbolizes "I"'s different pursuits of life in different periods, and the emotional entanglement between "I" and them symbolizes "I"'s mutual compromise and struggle with fate in different periods, but all of this eventually leads to destruction.

Death Penalty Report
General Fiction死刑报告
Pan Jun
"The Death Penalty Report" is a very deep and powerful novel. The novel is about a death penalty case, but the lines are full of human concern. What the writer calls for is that human life is the supreme dignity, and the essence of punishment is not to humiliate criminals, let alone physical torture to pursue the revenge effect of "blood for blood, tooth for tooth", but to arouse the criminal's inner repentance and make him return to society and start a new life. The inclusion of "The Simpsons Case" in the novel gives the work a perspective and constitutes a comparison and reference of Chinese and Western criminal concepts, which will benefit readers in the illegal academic field.
