The essay competition with the theme of "My Story and the Academy" received positive response from the members of the Yangtze River Delta Colleges and Universities Alliance. A total of 228 essays were received from 10 universities including Fudan University and East China Normal University. Authorized by the Yangtze River Delta University College Alliance, 57 outstanding works from this competition have been compiled into this book. Some of these works describe the ideological enlightenment and personality cultivation brought about by the academy's lecture halls, liberal arts courses, social practice and other second-class content; some share the guidance and youthful energy brought by the academy's knowledgeable tutors and hard-working roommates; others show the academy's unique quality development and the wonderful life and cultural power brought by the strong educational atmosphere. These stories fully reflect the students' sense of identity and gain from the academy.
