Pendor's War: the Chessboard of the Gods

Originated From The Wind

53K0

On an isolated continental island called Pendor, there used to be ancient and great races such as giants, ancient dragons, and Sindarin elves. The humans at that time were not worth mentioning. The island of Pendor also has its original deity-the patron goddess Astalia. Among them, the Sindari elves are the most favored by Pendor's patron goddess Astalia. The Sindari elves eventually defeated other ancient races and became the only residents of Pendor Island. In order to protect Pendor from interference by other gods, Astalia set up a barrier for Pendor. However, the magical civil war that broke out among the Sindari elves not only led to the demise of the Sindari elves, but also broke the barrier of the goddess Astalia, causing dimensional distortion. As time went by, some new beliefs first gave rise to new gods in Pendor, and they had their own power in the continent of Pendor. Later, people from the "non-Pender universe" "drifted" here through dimensional distortion, bringing their own gods with them. (Refer to the force table for details) The "magic" of the Sindari elves has disappeared, replaced by "miracles": praying to the gods and consuming faith to obtain miracles. The more faith, the greater the power of the gods. The faith of Pende Island is limited. Who can finally capture the faith of the whole island? The gods use the intelligent creatures on this island as chess pieces to play their own board game. A battle for power controlled by gods begins.
