Fluorescent Cocoon

Fluorescent Cocoon

Science Fiction

Old Cats Don't Like Wine

9K0

In an apocalyptic world where nuclear explosion wasteland intersects with quantum chaos, retired biologist Lin Shen sneaks into a laboratory shrouded in a fluorescent gene network, only to discover that he is clone No. 49 - An ultimate experiment in the name of "anti-entropy" has already locked his fate into a Klein bottle-like time and space cycle. The mechanical pupils of laboratory director Chen Mo reflect the truth of the fractal universe: through gene chimerism, quantum observation and fractal recursion, humans are trying to reverse the law of entropy increase and wrap the earth into a "cocoon" civilization. The silver-haired girl Xiaoman's tentacles pierce time and space, and her DNA chain contains the key to the quantization of human consciousness. From the living reverse osmosis membrane factory to the amber-solidified quantum cage, from the autophagic singularity to the fluorescent era, Lin Shen faced the vitrification of clones, the quantum entanglement of memory, and the self-eating of civilization in 49 cycles. When the Orion cantilever turns into a DNA sequencer, human beings finally transform into the metabolic program of space and time itself - using the fluorescent gene network as a cocoon and fractal recursion as a blade, at the moment when the thermodynamic arrow is reversed, we ask whether life is a prisoner of order or an editor of chaos. This work combines hard-core science fiction and Cthulhu aesthetics. It uses quantum physics, synthetic biology and topological mathematics as its skeleton, and unfolds a philosophical fantasy about immortality and the survival of civilization in the apocalyptic scene of biopunk.
