A story about loving and being loved, growth and redemption.

It tells the story of several young people who broke through their old selves and achieved redemption from their terrible original families. The prince lived in an extremely patriarchal family; Zhen Yu's father committed murder and was imprisoned; Wu Ge gave up his dream because of his vegetative father; the writer Wu Jie was bullied like an orphan; the doctor Liu Qinsheng was born in a single-parent family. Loneliness and indifference were engraved into their boyhood and became an indelible mark. When they grow up, they choose to confront their broken hearts and the rigid world, persistently looking for the glimmer of love. In the process, they bumped and fell, but never gave up. They drifted like duckweeds until they met each other and redeemed themselves. In loving and being loved, in gaining and losing, they found their own happiness, gained redemption, let go of the past, and started a new life.
