This book is a collection of essays. The work uses the protagonist Tian Ge to reflect on his life when he is 40 years old, and shows a picture of people's lives in urban-rural areas in the past 30 years. Tian Ge was born in a rural area in 1973. He was admitted to university in 1990 and started his career after graduating from university in 1994. After 20 years of work, love, getting married, raising children, supporting parents, achieving success in work, etc., People gradually move from youth to middle age. The work makes us reflect on how we should live as Chinese people.
