Moon Shadow Under The Starry Sky

61K0

In the 1960s and 1970s, children worked with the sunrise and returned home at sunset. Every day we looked forward to celebrating the New Year quickly, with new clothes to wear and meat to eat. Although we were poor, we were very happy. In the 1980s and 1990s, children worked hard outside for a better life, while our grandchildren acted coquettishly around us who were over fifty, looking forward to celebrating the New Year soon so that we could reunite with our parents. Life gradually got better, but we always felt that something was missing. In the post-2000 era, children have successful careers, and grandchildren have grown up and flown away like birds with plump feathers. When it comes to us looking forward to celebrating the New Year in the cold wind, cold rain, and loneliness, not for food or clothing, but just for the children to call mom and dad, and the grandkids to call grandma and grandpa!
