That summer, I transferred from the county seat to Xiangyang Middle School to study. Before that, my academic performance had always been good. The wall of my living room was covered with certificates of awards from various periods. This has always been something that my father was proud of. For a while, the middle-aged policeman who had frequent urination often looked complacent at the certificates on the wall. Sometimes, he would even drink a glass of wine.
