This book is a memoir written by a retired teacher couple on the occasion of their diamond wedding. It narrates the tremendous changes and development of Chinese society over the past 70 years from the 1940s to the present that two ordinary old people have experienced. It summarizes the experience and experience of two teachers who have worked in the education system throughout their lives, taught and educated people for decades, and achieved outstanding results. It also records the love and family life journey of the two protagonists who met and fell in love when they were students, stayed together for 60 years, and raised three children. It also describes what they saw and felt when they visited many provinces and cities in their motherland and spent a year in the United States.
