In this book, the author records his own personal experience of the arduous Antarctic scientific expedition. As the doctor accompanying the inland team of China's 25th Antarctic scientific expedition, he and the team members overcame numerous difficulties and successfully reached Dome, the highest point on the Antarctic ice sheet.
