In 1938, during the Battle of Wuhan, the National Army Major Battalion Commander Luo Yuesong led his troops to guard the eastern foothills of Dabie Mountain. He was stunned by fierce Japanese artillery fire. When he woke up, all his brothers in the battalion were killed. He persisted in the war behind enemy lines alone and accidentally captured a Japanese sniper. The shooter sniper rifle became an outstanding sniper in actual combat. He encountered the National Army's Rangers performing special tasks and assisted the Rangers in blowing up the Japanese bacterial weapons depot. He was shot by a Japanese sniper and was fortunately killed by the New Fourth Army. Hu Biao, commander of the reconnaissance company, rescued him. After recovering from his injuries, he participated in the anti-Japanese struggle of the Second Regiment of the Fifth Division of the New Fourth Army. He formed a special operations team in the second regiment and served as the captain of the special operations team. He gave full play to the strengths of a sniper and relied on various special operations to rescue New Fourth Army confidential personnel, annihilate Japanese special operations teams, and attack Japanese invaders. He established outstanding military exploits, successfully applied to join the New Fourth Army, and successfully joined the Communist Party of China. He eventually grew into an outstanding officer of our army.
