Türkiye is located at the intersection of Eurasia and its geographical location is extremely important. This book is a library project of veteran cadres of the Academy of Social Sciences. As an expert on Balkan issues, the author has devoted his life to Balkan history. This book is the first monograph in China that systematically introduces and discusses the modern history of the Balkan countries, including the history of the Balkan peninsula from the rule of the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires, World War I and World War II, the Cold War era, and the history of the Balkan countries since the drastic changes in Eastern Europe.
