This book is divided into three volumes: "Heart Sutra", which archives the author's reading and study notes on "Duku" over the years; "Fleeing Time", which tells the behind-the-scenes stories of his interactions with Duku over the past ten years as a reader, author, and editor; "Human World", which sorts out his book and love relationships with some of the authors of "Duku".

"Writing the Heart" is one of the "Wending Central Plains" series, a key work support project of the Henan Provincial Writers Association. It contains thirty-three prose works by the author, divided into six series: "Flowing Years", "Growth Lessons", "Enrollment Records", "Travel Traces", "Characters" and "Books and Shadows", or Describe childhood and hometown, or focus on family education and growth, or outline elementary school and high school entrance examinations, or record book connections and love relationships, or portray teachers and close friends, or talk about books and movies. The themes are diverse and the quality is neat, comprehensively displaying the author's creative achievements and spiritual world.
