Dongzhuo Village is located about eight kilometers east of Yanchang County, Shaanxi Province During the Xia and Shang Dynasties, it was under the jurisdiction of Guifang Yixi (Yin Xianyun), and during the Zhou Dynasty it was under the jurisdiction of Bai Di (Bai Zhai). Wei Wenhou destroyed Bai Zhai and returned to Wei. Duke Mu of Qin attacked Wei and returned to Qin. Later, it was occupied by the Qin and Wei Dynasties repeatedly. Around 430 BC (the period from Qin Zaogong to King Huiwen), the Qin and Wei Dynasties were busy fighting with each other and were occupied by Yi Qurong. Later it was occupied by Qin. During the period of hegemony between Chu and Han at the end of Qin Dynasty, Xiang Yu made Dong Yi the king of Zhai, and Dong Zhuo returned to Zhai. During the Han Dynasty, Gaonu County was established, which was under the jurisdiction of Gaonu. During the Song Dynasty, it was successively occupied by the Song, Liao, Song, Xixia, and Jin Dynasties, and was a place of four wars.
