CITIC Chinese Classics (50 volumes) is a collection of Chinese traditional culture classics with a deep international perspective and close to contemporary society introduced by CITIC Publishing House from the Chung Hwa Book Company in Hong Kong. CITIC Chinese Classics has appointed Jao Tsung-i, a master of Chinese studies, as its honorary editor, and invited well-known Chinese scholars at home and abroad to serve as editors, guides, and translators of classics. The content strives to be easy to understand, combined with real life, to explore the contemporary significance of ancient classics, and to shorten the distance between classics and real life. CITIC Chinese Classics not only includes the Analects of Confucius, Laozi, Sun Tzu's Art of War, Mencius, Zhuangzi, and other must-read and must-know Chinese classics, but also includes familiar classics such as The Book of Changes, Historical Records, Chronicle of the Three Kingdoms, Zizhi Tongjian, and Hanshu. "CITIC Classic of Chinese Studies:" is a collection of the responses, discussions and memorials of Emperor Taizong Li Shimin of the Tang Dynasty and his ministers, such as Wei Zheng, Fang Xuanling, Du Ruhui and dozens of others, as well as the theoretical views and political measures for governing the country. It is a political historical document and an important book for studying ancient Chinese political models and related thoughts. In this publication, we referenced multiple versions, learned from each other's strengths, selected several chapters, re-annotated and organized the translations. In the appreciation of fine sentences, the translator and annotator strives to analyze certain chapters of the book through modern interpretation, hoping that readers will examine the significance of "Zhenguan Zhengyao" with a modern perspective.
