Li Shiyi, a native Chengdu girl, quit her job in a first-tier city and returned to Chengdu to open a Sichuan embroidery workshop. She lives a slow life beside the Kuanzhai Alley, adhering to the craftsmanship passed down by her ancestors. She is obsessed with Shu embroidery and is good at the design and re-creation of ancient Shu culture. Due to a chance encounter, I met Shen Nanfeng, a cultural relic researcher with mysterious behavior and proficient in ancient Shu culture. (The guardian of the ancient Shu civilization for thousands of years. Due to the fetters of the sun bird, he has been looking for a destined person who can awaken the intangible cultural heritage of ancient Shu.) The two were attracted to each other because of their interest in ancient Shu culture. They slowly got closer to each other in the aroma of egg cakes on Kuixinglou Street, under the night lanterns in Jinli, and next to the red oil hotpot of the Shu heroes. Li Shiyi's Shu embroidery workshop encountered a business crisis. Faced with the impact of commercialization and the loss of craftsmanship, she stuck to her original intention; Shen Yanci silently guarded her and helped her discover the integration and innovation of ancient Shu patterns and Shu embroidery. The two visited the old alleys of Chengdu together to find old craftsmen who are intangible cultural heritage. They integrated elements such as the golden sand sun bird and ancient Shu bronze patterns into modern Shu embroidery to rejuvenate the old craftsmanship. In the fireworks of Chengdu, the two broke the fetters of fate, not only guarded the thousand-year cultural treasures of Shu, but also gained a love that went in both directions and achieved mutual success.
