The novel starts from "solar helium flash warning" and revolves around the execution and transformation of the "Galaxy Project": from the initial "escape plan" of human beings to continue civilization, to the conflict with the "stardust flow" of interstellar civilization, to the revelation of the conspiracy of the internal "Spark Faction", and finally achieves the symbiosis of "human beings-stardust-ancient civilization" and upgrades the plan to a "galactic civilization link". The core plot is the growth of the protagonists Lin Ye and Chen Xing from "plan executors" to "civilization guardians". The core conflict changes from "the confrontation between mankind and the end of the world" to "the choice between civilization expansion and interstellar symbiosis", and finally settles on "the essence of civilization is connection rather than isolation."
