On his first day in office, he stopped a murder on the river beach-- Four villagers carried a wooden frame, and a girl in a red wedding dress was tied to the frame. The old man Nuomian sang in the water and wanted to sink her into the river and offer her to the river god. The moment Li Tang untied the hemp rope, the girl said: "The lady in the sedan chair is being targeted." In the reeds on the other side of the river, a figure turned and ran away. There are four words written on the back of the paper money: Run away quickly, Yongzheng. He thought this was just the beginning. Later I learned that from the moment he set foot in Rugao, he was already in a net. According to historical records, Li Tang, an official in the Qianlong Dynasty, created the original "case-extracting method" and cleared countless unjust cases. He was praised by the emperor as "enforcement of law impartially and personal trial of cases".
