Pigeon Flower is set in the 1920s and 1930s, and tells the story of Zisi's journey from a young woman to a revolutionary warrior. By chance, she came into contact with the underground party of the Communist Party of China, thus participating in the revolutionary struggle and gradually becoming a qualified revolutionary fighter. The dove flower is used as a clue in the book, which symbolizes the desire for peace and also contains a kind of harmony of all things.
