Liu Xiaobin is a student of the 26th Advanced Research Class of the Lu Xun Institute of Literature. His literary criticism monograph "Awakening Through the Red Earth - On Zhang Pincheng's Novels" was recently published by Shandong Literature and Art Publishing House. This monograph of literary criticism consists of an introduction and 13 chapters with a total of 75 articles. These chapters can be separated into separate articles, but they also echo each other and are closely connected to form a whole. This review monograph comprehensively analyzes the essence of Zhang Pincheng's novels written in the past 30 years, and explores the value and influence of his works from multiple angles and levels.
