This book is compiled and compiled based on the cultural and historical materials of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and selected oral articles written by important historical figures before and after the liberation of Peiping. The book is divided into four chapters, covering the underground struggle, the peace talks in Peking, the uprising and takeover of the Kuomintang party and government departments, and the construction of Peiping after liberation. It details the important events and activities of people before and after the liberation of Peking from the perspective of first-person personal experience and oral narration.
