This book is one of the collections of special articles by members of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. This book is divided into four volumes, and all the articles collected have been published in academic journals or academic lectures at home and abroad. Among them, the paper on the Korean copper movable type version of "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" was the theme paper at the 2010 Korean International Academic Conference. This paper fills the gap in domestic academic circles. "Catch and Release Cao" - From "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" to "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" is a speech delivered at Korea University in South Korea and the Japanese Society of Three Kingdoms. Two long articles, "The Preface to the Printed Version of "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms"" and "Summary of the Dream of Red Mansions" comprehensively, systematically, and in-depth introduce and discuss the author, edition, content, and artistic features of the two books "Three Kingdoms" and "Red". Many of them are the author's own opinions and arguments. The author has his own writing style and characteristics. It is both in-depth and highly readable. The book contains both essays expounding the author's own views, as well as articles debating with opponents, such as the debate on the authenticity of the original version of "A Dream of Red Mansions". The author has published the monographs "Diagnosis of Cao Xueqin's Ancestral Origin", "Exploration of Versions of Dream of Red Mansions", "Exploration of Red Mansions - Liu Shide on the Dream of Red Mansions", "The Mystery of the Dream of Red Mansions - Liu Shide's Academic Lectures", "Novels of the Ming and Qing Dynasties - Liu Shide's Academic Lectures", "Liu Shide Talks about the Three Kingdoms", "A Study of the Authors and Versions of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms". The articles collected in this book are mainly articles published in recent years, and they are all not included in the above monographs. The author has his own style of writing, without any difficult words or sentences. He is very rational and logical, and his writing is concise and clear.

This book is a comprehensive and in-depth study of the red version of "A Dream of Red Mansions" (also known as the old version collected by Xi'an and the original version collected by Zheng). This book is also the first monograph in the field of Red Mansions at home and abroad to study the original version of "Dream of Red Mansions". This book points out for the first time that Chapter 23 of the book contains the text of the first draft of "A Dream of Red Mansions" written by the author Cao Xueqin. This is a new discovery by the author, and his argument is persuasive.

Shu version (Shu Yuanwei's preface to "A Dream of Red Mansions") is an important manuscript among the fat versions of "A Dream of Red Mansions". The Shu version is a manuscript written during the Qianlong period. It is a very rare version of Dream of Red Mansions. Its value can be said to surpass other existing fat copies! Moreover, for researchers and readers, it also retains part of the text and traces of Cao Xueqin's "first draft", making it even more precious. Studying the Shu version of Dream of Red Mansions is a very important branch in the study of versions of Dream of Red Mansions. This book fully researches and discusses the characteristics of Shu's version. The comparison with other versions not only deepens the study of Dream of Red Mansions, but also contributes academic essence to versionology.

"Research on the Jiaxu Version of A Dream of Red Mansions" is an analysis of the Jiaxu Version of "A Dream of Red Mansions". The book has a total of twenty-two chapters, which are divided into the following parts: introduction to the Jiaxu version, the order in which the Jiaxu, Jimao and Gengchen versions were established - taking "Lianju Liangqi" as an introduction, a review of the Jiaxu version, a review of the poems before the return, the couplets at the end of the Jiaxu version and the concluding remarks at the end of the Jiaxu version, An examination of the different characters of the original version, an examination of the unique characters of the Jiaxu version, examples of typos and changed characters in the Jiaxu version, an examination of Wang Ziteng and Wang Zisheng, an examination of Lai Da and Lai Er, an examination of the different names of Grandma Liu, an examination of the different names of Qilai, an examination of the different names of Shishu - also discussing the relationship between "book" and Tanchun, etc. The book has clear layers, concise language, detailed analysis, sufficient arguments, and has high academic value.

Over the past two hundred years, there have been thousands of research works on Dream of Red Mansions. However, due to the researchers' personalities and different perspectives on text research, "the creativity and particularity of the arguments are formed." "Famous Experts Interpretation of the Dream of Red Mansions" mainly collects self-selected works on red studies by famous experts in the field of Dream of Red Mansions in China, including representative works of famous red scholars such as Feng Qiyong, Li Xifan, Zhou Shaoliang, Zhou Cezong, Liu Shide, Cai Yijiang, Lin Guanfu, Hu Wenbin, Deng Yunxiang, Lu Qixiang, Zhou Siyuan, Bai Dun and other famous red scholars.

This book is a special collection of the study of "Water Margin" by Mr. Liu Shide, an expert in classical literature at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. It contains the main results of Mr. Liu Shide's many years of research on "Water Margin", reflecting the author's research characteristics of focusing on version textual research and his in-depth understanding of Chinese classical literature.
