Research on Oceanian Literature from a Multicultural Perspective: New Zealand Volume (Part 1)
Literature多元文化视野下的大洋洲文学研究:新西兰卷(上)
Liu Luechang Et Al.
This volume mainly studies the overall characteristics of the development of New Zealand literature since the 1970s and the aesthetic value of representative works. First, from a macro perspective, it explores the uniqueness and diversity of New Zealand society as it moves from duality to pluralism; then it starts from the meso level, discussing the important achievements in literary book production and the three major genres of novels, poetry, and drama; finally, this volume focuses on the micro level - selecting 19 unique representative writers and their works, using a combination of theme classification interpretation and multi-dimensional interpretation of artistic styles to reflect on New Zealand's diverse history, reflect New Zealand's diverse social reality, and show the new style of literature in the era of globalization. The study found that New Zealand literature in the 21st century is actively integrating into the trend of globalization with an inclusive, mixed, diverse and open attitude from a higher starting point.
