Since the new era of the 20th century, when farmers moved to cities to make a living as the main social trend, migrant literature with migrant workers as the main description objects came into being. Literary creation "is nothing more than searching for sorrow and joy, various themes and various aesthetic interests in the changes of space." Any story must also take place in a certain space. Therefore, this book mainly studies migrant literature since the new era based on the perspective of spatial narrative. It mainly includes exploring the different creative psychological space characteristics of "migrant writers" and "mainstream writers" in migrant literature, analyzing spatial representations such as "city", "rural area" and "urban village" in migrant literature, studying the image and survival mentality of migrant workers and how migrant workers achieve identity and spiritual sustenance through the construction of "spiritual space", "other cultural space" and "body space", and exploring the differences in "returning home" narratives presented in different spaces.
