Ningxia's literature has been doing very well in recent years. Therefore, in response to the requests of these authors, the Miscellaneous Literature Society can organize and compile a literary series such as "Pillow Pieces" to satisfy their desire to express themselves by publishing a collection of personal works. It is something that I am happy to do. It can also be regarded as my modest contribution as a cultural official to Ningxia literature. We are in an era of entertainment and consumption, which belongs to post-modern society. In this era, society and the public are full of consumer desires, and entertainment has become a way of survival. This pan-entertainment tendency has a contributing condition, which is that modern media, including television and the Internet, surround us. Its communication method is very typical, that is, graphic narrative. Different from traditional text reading, reading in the consumer era is also image reading. Therefore, this era is also called the era of picture reading. Everything appears in the form of images and digitization. If this kind of encirclement is defined in Postman's words, that is: people are alienated!
