城市与媒介:宋代文学的新变与转型
Liu Fang
From the new perspective of the city and media revolution in the Song Dynasty, this book explores from many aspects the profound impact of the prosperity of urban culture and the media revolution in the Song Dynasty on the transformation and innovation of Song Dynasty literature and the formation of new literary characteristics. Based on the basic understanding that the printing media revolution that occurred in the Song Dynasty had a multifaceted impact on the entire literary ecological environment of the Song Dynasty, on the transformation and innovation of Song Dynasty literature, and even on the formation of new characteristics of Southern Song literature, the first part studied how the printing media culture of the Song Dynasty influenced and promoted the literary change and prosperity of the Song Dynasty, forming new literary production. Many literary phenomena and their production mechanisms, such as dissemination, deprecation, and reading, reflect on and explore the new historical development trend of Song Dynasty literature under the influence of the new print media culture and its significance in literary history. The second part explores the close relationship between the new literary production and the prosperity of urban culture in the Song Dynasty, revealing how the new urban literature constructed, enriched and specifically demonstrated the new urban culture and its belief world. It explores the new literary production and literary changes formed under the influence of the urban prosperity and the rise of citizen culture in the Song Dynasty across disciplines and at multiple levels, as well as the challenges that new literary concepts and aesthetic tastes posed to traditional elite literature. In addition, an important aspect of the Song Dynasty's impact on the transformation of literature and art was the transformation of visual culture. Relevant chapters in the book also preliminarily explore the multifaceted impact of increasingly rich visual images on literary concepts, literary creation, and literary reform and innovation in the Song Dynasty.
