I am a marriage and family counselor and psychological counselor who has been deeply involved in the field of education for more than ten years. Over the years of my career, I have always paid attention to the psychological growth trajectory of children with meticulous observation and sincere empathy. This work about childhood comes from my own life experience. In my long-term counseling and counseling, I have witnessed too many children falling into confusion due to lack of emotion. Some are even troubled by depression. There are even a few children who despise life and go to extremes. This made me deeply realize that the background of childhood is never defined by wealth and poverty. The tolerance and love of parents are the most solid support for children. I myself grew up in an environment of love. Therefore, I wrote down my childhood experience, not only to light up a glimmer of light for children, allowing them to find the beauty and power of childhood in words; but also to convey a hope to parents: excellent parents never give their children material things, but water their hearts with love and understanding, giving them the courage and warmth to face life. This is my original intention and expectation in writing this book.
