Contemporary Chinese prose carries rich historical content and has gone through a rough journey of nearly half a century. Therefore, examining the development trend of Hubei prose in the new era from a vertical and developmental perspective and clarifying the ins and outs are of self-evident significance for the construction of the entire history of Chinese prose. Under this diachronic control, the evolution of Hubei prose presents the following three stages. Hubei prose has always been striving to seek new development prospects in a silent manner.
