Cyber: New Age
Science Fiction赛博:新世纪
Liang Qifeng
At the end of the 22nd century, a world-wide nuclear war broke out between countries. The global population dropped by 90%. About 600 million pre-war people took refuge in pre-established underground shelters. At the beginning of the 25th century, due to long-term living underground, the population growth rate was extremely slow, but almost all shelters had reached saturation. At the same time, the influence of the remaining radiation on the ground has been greatly weakened, and humans have begun to emerge from the ground to rebuild civilization. However, factors such as scarcity of resources, technological regression, and attacks by indigenous people and other creatures on the ground make reconstruction very difficult. The period from the mid-26th century to the mid-27th century was a period of coexistence of development and war. By the beginning of the 28th century, five major feudal countries had been established on the continent, as well as ten small countries and some scattered communities or tribes. However, most of the continent was still uninhabited land. In the early stages of returning to the ground, humans were sometimes attacked by some indigenous people, but more often because of some extremely dangerous mutant creatures that appeared from time to time. Human beings began to transform some people into cybernetics in order to deal with the crisis.
