When Chinese people look at Japan, they often fall into two misunderstandings. One is a cultural misunderstanding, believing that China and Japan are East Asian cultures, share the same culture and race, and should "be united as one family." The other is a historical misunderstanding, mainly due to the history of aggressive wars, which adds an element of hatred to Chinese people's views of the Japanese. Based on 16 years of personal experience studying and working in Japan, the author of this book examines these issues that everyone is concerned about based on close observation of Japan, trying to restore a true and objective Japan.
