This book takes "Poetry has no meaning" as its program, and from the perspective of hermeneutics, it systematically sorts out and analyzes the ideas and characteristics of multiple interpretations in Chinese poetics. The first part analyzes the four prerequisites for the formation of multiple interpretations, namely the stipulations of text, readers, philosophy, and aesthetics; the middle part analyzes the formation process of the proposition "Poetry has no explanation", and the second part summarizes the three major characteristics of multiple interpretations, namely aestheticism, mysticism, and experientialism. The whole book has solid and rich historical materials and strict and powerful logic.
