This is a collection of short and medium stories, with a total of twelve stories, all of which are based on the author's place of growth - Chenglingji. The first part is seven short stories, writing about the historical stories of Chenglingji Town; the second part is five short stories, writing about contemporary characters in Chenglingji Port after the founding of the People's Republic of China. The author has edited "History of Chenglingji Port" and has done extensive research on the history, geography, economy and folk customs of Chenglingji, and his writings are well-founded: "Golden Hooked Beard" and "Ivory Wat Board" are from legends; "The God of Baskets" and "The Beautiful Lady in Misfortune" are from historical novels; "Ripples" and "Sailor Woman and Boat" are from life observations; other chapters are all from the author's personal experience and deep thinking about history and reality.
