This book focuses on verifying the ancestors of the Li family at three nodes from various aspects such as historical books, chronicles, genealogy, inscriptions, archaeology, geography, and field trips: blood ancestor, Longxi Tang ancestor, and Guangdong ancestor. It rectifies the far-fetched, misinterpreted, confusing, and contradictory points commonly found in many articles and genealogical records, such as ancestor misconnections, birth and death times, place names, and dynasty confusion. It also points out the root causes of the errors. The whole book includes: tracing the origins of the ancestor of the Chinese Li surname and the first person with the Li surname in official history; tracing the roots of Longxi Hall, pointing out that the Li family had Longxi Fang and Zhaojunfang, etc.; Researching the entry and migration of Li Lian, Li Anzheng, and Li Dong to Guangdong , pointed out that there were multiple branches of the ancestors of the Li family who entered Guangdong, analyzed the time and path of Li Lian's entry into Guangdong, Li Dong's birth and death years, the time and reason of moving south, and the process of migration; and analyzed the correctness and error of "Daoquan Li Gongsi Genealogy" and "Yunbu Li Family Genealogy".
