The modern literature research results selected by Comrade Li Songrui's "Literature's Traces of the Times" are mainly divided into two parts: the study of writers, works and literary phenomena in the history of modern Chinese literature, sorted by the generation of the research objects; and the study of "Politics" from the perspective of the relationship between the times and literary forms. Commentaries on three research works on modern Chinese literature: "Governmental Culture and Chinese Literature in the 1930s", "Revolution and Form - The Development of Modernity in Early Contradictory Novels (1927-1930)", and "Narisi Thoughts by the Water - The Artistic Motif of Chinese Modernist Poetry". Among them, the research on the translated literature of the late Qing Dynasty, Lu Xun's translated works, Bian Zhilin's novels, Zhao Shuli's literary language and Lao She's novel creation in the 1940s has impacted the existing research pattern and has a high academic level.
