When she was called Ge Lanying, she was just a country woman; when she was called Ge Jianhao, she determined to be an athlete and hero who devoted herself to education and transforming society. She, Qiu Jin, and Tang Qunying were known as the "Three Heroic Women" of Xiaoxiang. Their lifelong wish was to liberate women through education. She went to school at an old age and studied abroad at an old age. She successively founded the "Xiangxiang County Second Women's Vocational School" and the "Public Women's Vocational School". People at the time called her an "amazing woman". With her firm actions and unyielding spirit, she raised and supported five revolutionary sons and daughters - Cai Hesen, Cai Chang, Cai Luxian, Xiang Jingyu, and Li Fuchun. Four of them are members of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and three died for the revolution. Some people call her the "Mother of the Revolution." She witnessed the establishment of the Xinmin Society and the process from the establishment of the Communist Party of China to the encounter with white terror.

A woman who was expected to be a man in her destiny, went through the happiest childhood. As she grew up, she used the kindness and love in her heart to give more than her peers to create a wonderful life. She also met all the people she could meet in the world who taught her to grow up. So she began to find the meaning of her life at the intersection of her own story and the stories that made others successful.
